A renowned Tibetan Buddhist master once remarked, “The most powerful, smallest, and largest thing in the universe is the mind.” From dawn to dusk our minds ceaselessly perceive and process our experiences.
Both ancient wisdom and modern science affirm that the state of our mind is the cornerstone of our well-being. Yet, how much have we truly studied the properties of the mind and its functions? And, more importantly, how can we translate this understanding into meaningful change in our daily lives?
In this one-day workshop, we will examine these questions through the lens of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, alternating between explanation and meditation practices, to establish an introductory foundation on the workings of the mind.
